Please read thoroughly before reaching out. These are our most common questions—and we’ve answered them for your clarity and convenience.
What is Woof Houze Academy?
Woof Houze Academy is not a daycare and not a traditional training company. We are mediators, consultants, and bridge-builders for families who want to build a connected life with their canine—not just manage behavior.
We offer:
- Connection Academy – 12-week, full-day, semester-based program rooted in Montessori philosophy
- Bond & Play Confidence Camp – social-emotional preparation for group learning
- Private Connection Coaching – one-on-one coaching for connection, understanding, and behavior support
- Private Code Red Coaching – advanced coaching for fear, trauma, or aggression
- Woof Houze Way Memberships – monthly guardian support, resources, and coaching
- Wellness Blueprints – customized guidance on nutrition, supplements, and total canine wellness Trust is the leash. We lead with relationship, not rules.
How do I know what’s right for my canine?
Every guardian follows the same 3-5-step path:
1. Discovery Call – A 15-minute phone call to understand your goals and challenges
2. Observation Appointment – We observe your canine in our space and assess readiness
3. Placement – Based on what we see, your next step may be:
• Connection Academy
• Bond & Play Confidence Camp • Private Coaching (Connection or Code Red)
• Membership-only support (if appropriate)
Do you work with canines who are fearful, reactive, or aggressive?
Yes. That’s our specialty. Canines experiencing trauma, fear, or behavior challenges begin with Code Red Coaching or Confidence Camp before moving into group learning. We never force socialization, and we never use fear-based tools.
What services do you offer?
• Connection Academy – Full-day, semester-based education for no more than 15 students
• Bond & Play Confidence Camp – Transitional prep for canines learning emotional and social skills
• Private Connection Coaching – One-on-one guidance focused on clarity and relationship
• Private Code Red Coaching – Specialized coaching for trauma, aggression, or fear
• Woof Houze Way Memberships – Ongoing guardian education, events, and support

What vaccines are required?
For group programs (Academy + Camp):
• Rabies
• DHPP
• Bordetella
• Recent negative fecal test (2 weeks includes Giardia)
For private services: We do not require vaccines, but titer testing is mandatory. We do not accept canines with respiratory symptoms or unverified medical history.
Do you allow prong, e-collars, or shock devices?
No. We do not allow any aversive or pressure-based tools in any of our programs. Families must be willing to transition away from outdated methods in order to work with us. This includes shock collar, a.k.a. E collar, choke chains, martingale, prong, slip leads, halti, , easy walk/front Clip/ retractable leashes, anything that does not assist the canine with making a choice.
Can I drop my canine off for just a day?
No. Woof Houze Academy does not offer daycare, day sitting (unless a student), or drop-in play. All programs are structured educational experiences with a clear curriculum, intentional groupings, and required guardian follow-through.
Will you teach my canine cues for me?
Yes, in full day Academy. But No. We do not offer so called board and train. We coach your canine with you—not for you. Every family receives coaching support. Without your involvement, your canine cannot succeed. This is about long-term connection, not temporary results.
Do you offer tours?
We do not offer unscheduled walkthroughs to protect the emotional safety of our students. If your application is accepted, you will be invited to attend an observation during your canine’s intake process.
What payment methods do you accept?
• Zelle
• Credit/Debit via invoice
• 0% interest financing through Affirm (for qualified applicants)
Full payment or your first installment is due before program participation begins.
What if I’m not ready to commit?
We recommend beginning with a Woof Houze Way Membership at $199/month. This provides education, access to events, guardian coaching, and connection to our community while you prepare for more structured involvement.
What is The Woof Houze Way?
It’s the foundation of everything we do:
• Connection over control
• Cue over command
• Canine individualism over obedience expectations
• Compassion over compliance
• Clarity over chaos We don’t fix canines—we coach families. We don’t manage behavior—we rebuild trust. Woof Houze Academy is where relationship becomes the curriculum.
